John Chowdhury is the Managing Director of NKSoft Corporation and NKSoft KEMA Consulting, USA, bringing over 30 years of experience in the global energy and utility sector. A recognized expert in renewable energy integration, grid modernization, and digital transformation, John has led large-scale, high-impact projects across North America, South Asia, and Latin America.

He has spearheaded initiatives involving utility-scale and distributed solar PV systems, battery energy storage (BESS), DERMS, SCADA, AMI, ADMS, and cybersecurity architecture for critical infrastructure. Under his leadership, NKSoft has successfully delivered consulting services and project execution for public utilities, development banks, and private sector clients—helping them navigate the energy transition through technology innovation and strategic planning.

John has directed national and regional renewable energy and smart grid strategies in collaboration with organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, EU, and national utilities in the U.S., Bangladesh, India, and Brazil. He is particularly known for his ability to blend business acumen with deep technical knowledge, guiding clients through feasibility, design, procurement, and implementation stages of complex energy infrastructure programs.

John holds a B.Sc. in Computer and Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and actively contributes to international utility advisory councils and innovation forums. His leadership continues to shape the future of sustainable and digitally-enabled power systems.

His expertise spans renewable energy, utility modernization, smart grid innovation, and AI-enabled infrastructure solutions. He has played a pivotal role in securing flagship assignments with clients such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and major electric utilities in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America.

Christopher holds an MBA in International Business and is known for his collaborative leadership style, results-driven mindset, and ability to translate complex technical offerings into client-focused value propositions.
